GOVERNANCE, DEMOCRACY AND DEVELOPMENT

Service Description

This course examines the impact of domestic and foreign factors on governance, and the relationship between governance variations and development. It covers policy and advocacy tools, and critical issues like participation, foreign aid, transparency, rule of law, corruption, human rights, and global governance. Participants gain a comprehensive understanding of the elements that promote or impede the establishment and strengthening of democracy. They can apply the theories and concepts covered in the course to support democracy in their countries.
